Nothing is long-term. There are bound to be various problems in daily use. What are the faults of marine motors? In order to better understand, today I will give you a detailed introduction to the reasons why marine motors do not generate electricity or the voltage is abnormal and the measures taken.
Cause analysis of non generation or abnormal voltage
(1) Fuse broken
(2) Voltmeter damaged
(3) Inaccurate voltmeter
(4) Poor contact of voltage regulator pin
(5) Rotating rectifier module is damaged
(6) Loss of remanence
(7) Wiring error
(8) Exciter field coil open circuit
(9) Loose connector or poor contact
(10) Generator armature coil open circuit
(11) Generator armature coil short circuit
(12) Exciter armature coil open circuit or short circuit
(13) Abnormal speed
(14) Regulator protection shutdown circuit action
(15) The regulator is damaged
Treatment methods for non generation or abnormal voltage of marine motor
(1) After confirming that the circuit is normal, replace the fuse and then switch on.
(2) Directly measure the voltage at the generator terminal with the voltage gear of the multimeter.
(3) Check the electric meter regularly, and replace it if it is inaccurate
(4) Check whether the 50Hz, 60Hz and 6 and 7 pins of the voltage regulator are loose
(5) Connect the rotary rectifier module to the rotor of the host
Remove the door multimeter or bulb from the connecting wire of the magnetic field to measure the rotating rectifier module. If it is damaged, it needs to be replaced.
(6) Connect the 12V battery to the stator coil of the AC exciter through the diode for magnetization once, and connect the positive pole to X and the negative pole to XX (about 2 seconds).
(7) Check carefully and connect according to the wiring diagram
(8) Twist the broken wire, solder it firmly, and wrap it with insulating materials.
(9) Clean the connector and reconnect it
(10) Find out the open circuit and re weld and bind
(11) The short circuit will cause serious heating, and the coil should be replaced
(12) Find out the fault point and replace the coil
(13) Check the generator speed with a tachometer or frequency meter
(14) Adjust the regulator after correcting according to the regulator instructions
(15) Replace the regulator
